Ricotta Casata

This is a very easy recipe, and you can use whatever
filling you like.
1/4 cup of dried pinapple
1/4 cup of dried papaya
1/4 cup of dried banana
1/4 cup of dried apples
1/4 cup of chopped pistachios
1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
1/4 cup of chocolate chips
(I advise less than a 1/4 cup of the above, maybe 1 1/2 tbs)
500g of ricotta
1 tsp of Vanilla essence
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup of sugar
1- Stir the Ricotta withthe furit mixture, then add the vanilla.
2- Over simmiring water (double boiler) whisk the egg yolks and
sugar until it becomes thick and creamy.
3-Fold the egg yolk mixture with the Ricotta mixture evenly.
4- Line a loaf pan wiht a layed of clingfilm (plastic wrap). Pour the Ricotta mixture
and level evenly.
5- Chill in the freezer overnight.
Chopped dried fruits and nuts + I added chocochip
next time I'm going to try it with crushed bistcutes
and chocochips only ;)
4 egg yolks and 1/2 cup of sugar
et Voila!!! It is easy and very delicious!
The chocolate sauce I added 100g of dark chocolat
with 1 cup of creme and melted over low heat ;)
Very yummy! and it was all gone! ;)
