Movie Review - Black Swan
Black Swan
I finally had time to go through the stack of movies I've got piling upon my shelf. As much as I wanted to watch Black Swan since it came out, I wanted to watch it when I'm less preoccupied. It is the story of Nina, a Prima Ballerina, who fights to get the part of the Swan Queen, and fights to keep it againt Lilly another ballerina. However, in the end Nina was fighting against herself, trying to tap and bringout her dark side. The movie was breath taking, glorious and dark and twisted.I love Natalie Portman and loved her more in this performance. Worth watching if you haven't watched it yet.
Ecltic Kuwaiti... Yes it was twisted, I too was expecting a Friday the 13/ Texas Chainsaw ending ;p I think the life of a ballerina is very disturbing. It isn't the first movie I watched which didn't protray that disturbing fact about them.
I found the ending disturbing and the whole movie twisted. I would have liked it more if it hadn't been so gory
