Death By Rangeena!

The other evening Ansam posted pictures of Rangeena prepared by her father on Twitter. I asked her to save me some ;p  and I was lucky to receive a plate the next day :D

Can I say "Death By Rangeena"? This is what I thought when I started eating nonstop the Rangeena Baba Issa made!

Just let me tell you… it was so good!!!
It was…. PURE MURDER!!!

Honestly I couldn't move after I ate some, and saved it for the next day and the day after! Nope! I only shared one piece with Fahad and another with Abdulaziz, and kept the rest to myself :)

Teslam Eeed ili Sawaha!!! Teslam Eedik Baba Issa!!! W 3asa allah ya7efthek w ye 6awel eb3omerk!

Ansam's post about her Dad's Rangeena : Here :)

Fahad was a baby ;p

Photo Challenge Day 4: Favorite Color

I don't have a favorite color.
I like deep rich jewel tones colors,
and I like gray when I'm in a bad mood. :)

My Visit to F2o Designs Shop

Lailat al Eid (on the eve of Eid), I took the boys to visit the newly opened F2o shop in Burj Jassem. I needed some cool T-shirts for them, but not any T-shirts, cool T-shirts which
I know I'll only find at F2o!

First, what is F2o?

F2o is a Kuwaiti based business started by cartoonist Fatma Fawzi AlOthman (adorable lady). It provides for its clients original cartoon illustrations, ready made T-shirts and accessories, cartoon Logos and mascots, and custom cartoon illustrations.

Fatima recounted to me how she started, from her love of coloring as a child, and the encouragement of her parents in this craft, to the business which she started from this wonderful obsession. I applaud and admire her for it! This is a great example of what is ambition, commitment and following your dream is. Mashallah!!

What I love about F2o is it has this traditional Kuwaiti feel to it. I first bought them through Venyooo.com and posted
about them previously Here!
Now there is a shop where I can browse as much
as I like and try on the t-shirts.

So yes… lailat al Eid I took my two little scamps and we headed to Burj Jassem. The shop was so delightful! Everywhere I look there were illustrations and posters, and collectibles from the artist life.

Honestly, I couldn't take in everything that day. Abdulaziz and Ahmed decided to act up when we were there and fooling around. I was too worried they'd break something. I really need a second visit soon, and alone.

I wish her all the best of luck and success! And I highly recommend you stop by the shop.

 Hehehe...who remembers this phone?

Ahmed insisted to pose with this little Vaspa ;p

I love those tumblers. I got two of them,
one for me and the other for Fahad.

Posts

I have a lot of posts to make. Unfortunately, the boys are starting school on Tuesday and I haven't prepared anything for them. (Oh!!! Yes!!! The nightmare is beginning!!! God Help Me!)  I'm rushing around like crazy to buy them school uniforms. Abdulaziz has reached that size where you can't find it in the childrens section and I'm in denial to go over the adult section to find him what he needs :s Yes! My baby is growing fast! (Allah ya7fetha!)
So inshallah as soon as I get organized (I don't know what's wrong with me this year) I will inshallah start catching up on posts!
So stay tuned!!! :)

Photo Challenge Day 3: Clouds

Day 3: Clouds!
I spent two days searching for clouds in our Kuwaiti sky line...
Nothing!
So I went through my archives and found these two wonderful pictures from our trip to Oman last December.
Both views were so breathtaking I posted both of them.

Mountains and Clouds

I still remember this day so vividly... beautiful cool
breeze and heavey clouds obscuring the sun one late
afternoon while we dined pool side :)
Can't wait for December to come!
